Hello all, Wish you a very happy and a prosperous new year…

I’m sorry I was busy with some other commitment so couldn’t write regular posts.. Hopefully I’ll be back to regular writing.

Today I’m writing a small posts.. as to what small new year resolutions we can take, which can help us to remain healthy and happy..

These are simple small steps you can take. Small steps daily, can lead to a much larger change when done consistently.

  • Eat healthy – Eat atleast one healthy thing everyday – nuts, fruits, milk, pulses, sprouts, khichdi etc.
  • Stop unhealthy food – Put some voluntary restrictions on yourself, as you feel you can manage. Eating out only once a week, or only 3 times a week. Stopping bread/cheese/fried/Chinese/nonveg/alcohol/colddrinks/icecreams – any of it, for one year, or one month, or limited times a month.
  • Drink atleast 12-15 glasses of water daily.
  • Daily walk/exercise – at least 20mins daily walks. Or join some activity like – swimming, Zumba, yoga, aerobics, badminton etc.
  • Read books/newspapers – Have a habit of being updated with current affairs, read newspapers daily. Try and read atleast one book a month. Books increase your viewpoints, makes your vocabulary stronger, and increases your creativity. Your formal education might be over, but learning should never stop.
  • Limit gadget time – Phone, TV, ipads use up lot of our daily time. Try and restrict your use to few hours per day. Not to watch TV more than 1hour a day, not to binge watch series/movies.
  • Meet new people, catch up with old friends – get to know more people out of your routine circle, you will learn a lot. Different work cultures, religious views, life views. Connect with old friends, call atleast one old friend a week.
  • Spend time with your parents – spend atleast 15mins daily with your parents. They are the person who love you the most. Show them you care and respect them.
  • Write a diary – writing a diary is an extremely beneficial work. I’ll write a full blog someday to explain you the benefits of a diary. Try and write a diary atleast once in 3 days or 5days. Even if it’s a short paragraph.. but write consistently, and you see what benefits you get from it.

That’s it, this was a short list of things you may add to your resolutions of 2018. You may not add all of them, or may add much more than all. Be consistent, be patient. Let me know what all you decided to do, I’ll be happy to remind you and push towards your goals. Thank you.

My regular posts would start soon, let me know if you have any special requests to talk on any particular topic. I’ll surely write about it.
